When can you start?

I am not a large agency trying to accomplish as much as possible. I am one person trying to help each client to the best of my ability! That means I have to say "hold on" every now and then to make sure I am giving each client the attention they deserve; the attention you want. For this reason, it may be two or three weeks before I can actually start your project.

How long will it take?

No two projects are exactly the same so I'm not going to give you an answer before we talk about your project. I can tell you from past experience that a logo/complete brand normally takes one to two weeks and a strategy can be an on going relationship as we created new objectives over time. Video content usually depends on the subject matter as well as the talent and locations chosen.

How much does it cost?

Again, no two projects are exactly the same and I'm not going to randomly put something here in an effort to impress you. The truth is I have done work for free and I have traded my services for products, but I normally charge by the project and that has varied from $500 to $36,000. If you want to know whether or not I can create what's needed within your budget, let's talk.

What is included when I hire you to design a logo?

I am going to provide you with a specific color palette and any fonts that I used. In most cases, a secondary mark that you can use for stickers or on social media will be included too. I will provide you with all the necessary files to maintain the brand and build. This typically comes in the form of a packaged InDesign file including any photoshop or illustrator files that were used in developing your brand. Types of brand elements that are usually included are things like the logo, color pallet, fonts and uses, formatting, stationery, apparel and other branded concepts that will give you a launching point on what to have produced in order to be established day one as a complete brand.

How do I pay you to get started?

I will send you an invoice after I've identified exactly what you need, we have both shared our expectations, and there is an agreed upon scope of work and budget. For projects less than $2,000, full payment is required to begin. For everything else, 50% is required to start the project and the remaining 50% is paid at the end.

Why do you freelance instead of working for someone else?

There isn't a job in the world that would offer me the ability to spend time with my family like being self employed. Is it scary? Sometimes. Is it hard? Definitely. Is it always working from remote places and having fun? Not at all. But at the end of the day it allows me to help other people, be creative, and spend a crazy amount of time with my family... So freelance work is what I choose to do.
